Poor student studying full time and struggling with stretching money. I've made a strict budget and $80 is the most I can afford for food. I'm a young female average weight so calorie wise I don't have to eat a lot but I do need to be able to concentrate.

I've got oats for breakfast with bananas currently as they are cheap per kilo and I have got 4 cupboard milks in the cupboard they are about $1.15 each. One lasts about 3 days.

Lunch I have got rice and tuna. I got several 2kg bags for $1 each. Tuna is 80c a cab and they come in loads of flavours so it doesn't get boring.

Dinner I have pasta and pasta sauce with cheap frozen veg. Pasta 80c a 500g bag and sauce is $1.50 veg was $2. This is abou 3 dinners per jar and pasta pack with veg left over. Other meals are veg/rice/soy sauce.

Snacks are fruit or peanut butter on bread because these are relatively cheap.

I'm wondering if anyone has any criticisms or suggestions for more cheap meals and ingredients.

I don't use dairy and I avoid meat because it is expensive and if I can go without I will. I have iron and b12 tablets for any nutrition I may be lacking.

I may have a bicycle soon so that will clear up $25 from my public transport budget but that isn't guaranteed.
