So for a short TL;DR of how I got here. My step-brother had been sexually harassing me for about a year before I went to my mother and told her about what was going on. Ended up with mother and stepfather breaking up, mother and sisters being kicked out, and myself being completely ousted. Obviously my stepdad took my step brother's side. Anyway, I'm 90% sure my credit is shit but I honestly have no idea how to even check it. My parents never taught me anything in the way of finances. I know I have medical debt but I don't know how to see what all debts I have to whoever.
I'm currently living with my former manager in his 2/2 apartment as I can't sign any kind of lease as far as I know. He works 15+ hour shifts so his cat and dog constantly shit and pissed inside until I moved in. Everything I own now smells like smoke and piss (he smokes inside). This is my only option for he foreseeable future.
I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing and I need help. I start training at my new job today. So I guess my question is where do I start from here? Somebody please help.
