Hello! I am 19F, and very very new at finances. I'm hesitant to ask my parent for advice, so I need some help. (I'm on mobile so sorry for formatting!)

Firstly, I will give some background. 1. I have never been employed, but I have done 200+ hours volunteering at a hospital 2. I have a resume completed (and looked over) and two people I know put down as references. 3. I don't have my own bank account yet. 4. I don't have a car, so I will have to rely on public transportation (which my school provides for free during the school year). 5. I will be a full time student in the fall (Sept 25).

I would like to start a job as a part-timer in a grocery store, but I am very nervous about applying (what if I get too stressed, what if I can't make it to work, ect.) I really would like to get a job now and save money, but I honestly do not know where to start once (and if) I am hired. I very much need advice on where to start. Do I get my own bank account, do I get the job first, how do I save, ect? Thanks for reading!

Edit: line breaks
