I came across an image of this shipping crate turned into a coffee table, and I'm really interested in replicating it as a DIY from scratch job. I can build the crate itself and distress the wood no problem, but I don't really know how to give the wood the aged color/texture that this crate has. It doesn't seem like something that can be achieved with a simple staining.Also, any thoughts on how to replicate the aged lettering look? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2h789ol
