They don't really have working capital...nor do they have much capex. They buy and sell different financial products like securities and loans. But that stuff shows up in cash flow from investing. But isn't that part of their operating business?
I'm looking at a simple example here. Simple because its a regional bank:
Shouldn't proceeds from securities available for sale be part of operating activities? Or am I wrong?
