Can someone please explain to me how on earth a recent college graduate is supposed to have a life that isn't shit? I've been out of college for a few months. Every job that I have access to right now is not related to what I studied and I'm not a minority in regards to this. Sure it is awfully entitled to think you deserve a good job out of college but if I get a job like a night time custodian or a restaurant job how the fuck am I capable of parlaying that into any other job other than another version of that job? Doing a job that is minimum wage and demands 8 or more doesn't allow me to actually leave that job. It's like a prison. Once you accept that you will have that as a career it's pretty much impossible to get out. I'm not even going to make any money to be able to invest in other pursuits because of student loans. So what is the motivation of a majority of young college graduates? Most of us have debt, no prospect at bettering our employment and no time to improve upon ourselves. How do you get out of this?
