Hey there, some of my friends call me "the king of kludge" (not sure about this word, I'm trying to translate from the portuguese word 'gambiarra') and I'd like to do better.I never had proper training so I mostly only got common sense, and probably less than you'd expect. I never had someone to teach me this kind of stuff nor did I have any special reason to learn. Up until I realized that this is what is holding me back and that if I enjoy finding solutions for stuff (like this 2-floors cat net I made for my friend's cats) I'll probably increase what I can solve if I get more tools, right? So I've decided to do a decent cat furniture, maybe two or three diy shelves (?).I've got a skewer and a hammer, but that's pretty much it, aside from the US$ 250 (converting from R$ 700) I can use to buy anything else. If at all possible and viable I'd like to use some of this budget to buy an electric saw and a dremel, but aside from that I got really no idea on what I'd need, where to get it and how to start. Hell, this might not even be enough money for this project for all I know.Anyway, this is about it, guys, how can your glorious know-how help me find my way? Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vROkV5
