I think it is roundly accepted that there will be a massive transition of wealth from aging baby boomers into the healthcare system. Whether it is a transfer directly, through insurance companies, or via higher taxes to pay for the medicare expenditures we will see unprecedented wealth stockpiles poured into healthcare.
If my underlying assumption is correct, what is your strategy for taking advantage of this transition? It seems to me that the safest best is to invest in the hardware and software providers for hospitals as, in the end, they will get their money no matter what happens with congress. Insurance companies seem to be high risk, low reward for me. What about for-profit hospitals and care providers?
Just curious whether you are investing in healthcare and the various strategies.
