Garbage disposal went from fine to dead. No hum or grind. I checked the breaker box. I tried to reset the unit. Under the sink both the upper and lower outlet seem to be dead. The upper outlet is used by the disposal. Lower outlet from my understanding should be always on. The disposal switch above the counter shares a faceplate with a gfci outlet. The gfci outlet reset/test button are non functional. Would the switch be wired through the gfci outlet?
