I just received a CP2000 notice saying I owe more money than the amount of income I forgot to report.
I drove for lyft one time to get their new driver bonus and forgot to report it. I made $1000 in income but now it says I owe $1,246 in taxes. This doesn't seem right to me that I owe more in taxes than the money I made. What can I do?
