A spout near my patio has been washing dirt away under our front patio, there is now about a 1 inch gap between the patio and the ground over a significant portion of the patio. The patio is not cracked or damaged in anyway. I've fixed the spout so it is now directing water away from the patio, now onto fixing the gap under the patio.From my research professionals use a special foam using pumps and drilling into the slab to fill under it. Though someone suggested rigging some pvc pipe with a 90 degree angle and using quikrete to pour into the space, I also am considering just digging down next to it and filling in the space with dirt. Anyone with experience please chime in I want this to be a fix done right.EDIT: Also want to add this patio is connected to the house so the new quikrete will settle against the basement wall though there is nothing there besides cement foundation. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2vJMZyH
