I typically buy a year at a time to save money, and the vet makes me promise to give it year round... I live in a cold climate so I take December-March off. Problem is, this years supply of medication I was given expires in March 2018, but my supply is good through November 2018.
Will this be safe/an issue? Any advice on saving on dog monthly medications is appreciated! It is kind of awkward paying the 40 bucks (140 after buying generic heartworm) to get the dog tested every year and then be like, 'see ya, I'll have someone I shopped online call you for the prescription.' Perhaps I should just get over it.
