I am thinking about doing an epoxy river table, like seen here:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWkldrESy3QThey use melamine board, with an acrylic sheet on the bottom, and wax on the melamine board to prevent the epoxy from sticking.I have two slabs, with live edges, and want the epoxy to form the "river" down the middle. My question is there any other methods to prevent epoxy from sticking and forming the box. Melamine and plexiglass seem pretty expensive. Plus, does anyone have any clue how much epoxy would be needed for a table roughly 27" x 60", and the river would be 14" x 60" by 1". They sell gallon size epoxy bottles. And, would anyone have any tips for coloring the epoxy, I would like to try and make the river get darker as it goes deeper. So, would end up pouring multiple layers, each one with less dye. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Especially if you have worked with epoxy before. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2uS5YLl
