So to make a long story short I had to move out of my house due to a toxic environment and unfortunately I had to quit my job. It wasn't a very good job but I'm a college student so every dollar is helpful one way or another. I called my boss and told him I can't come in anymore and I asked him about my timecard. I wasn't able to fill it out and he said I won't be able to get paid for my work. I know this isn't legal to do considering I actually did work, just due to unforeseeable circumstances that were out of my control I wasn't able to fill out my card. How should I approach this situation?
