I work at a school and every year 2 grades make marble runs out of toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes. They know I'm a bit creative and to hopefully make the kids put more effort into their projects they have asked me to make one. I basically want to make a sleek marble run out of the same stuff they will be using except I want to add a kind of bucket lift to bring the marbles to the top again. I'm thinking of doing some kind of solar panel connected to a rechargeable battery holder and then to a small DC motor to spin the pulley. since I have just a very basic knowledge of this I want to know what kind of components I'll need to get this done.I could just do it with a battery but to keep with the whole earth-consciousness I want to throw a solar panel in there.
