So, how does market cap relate to share price?
Example, if I bought shares in a company at a market cap of 1 billion and then the company grew to a market cap of 100 billion, does that mean the share price would grow ×100 aswell (+10,000%)?
So, that would mean if I put $1000 on the company, I would end up with $100,000?
Is my understanding correct? Lol
