I saw Costco is carrying again UB Tech travel pants and wanted to mention them as a great deal at $17.99/pair (both in store and online): http://ift.tt/2uSuN8V These are nylon pants that are lightweight, stretchy, and water resistant. Great for being active but also don't look bad in casual situations. They have tons of good reviews and folks have dug into where they're made and found they come from the same factory that make these $80 Eddie Bauer travel pants: http://ift.tt/2uSrDlG It's basically the same pants for much less cost.

I have a few pairs of these pants and really like them. I've taken them out hiking and they work just as well as much fancier hiking pants. I've also worn them casually and they blend in really well with other clothes. The material is a bit shiny as it's a synthetic so it might not work in every situation. There's also a small cargo pocket on the right side but it's very slim and doesn't stand out like most cargos (also it's super useful for travel).

Fit-wise it's a straight fit and not really that slim of a pant. I'd say it feels and fits a lot like Levis 501's if you're used to that pant (it's definitely not a 513 or 514 style slim, but also not huge and baggy). The material does have a good amount of stretch and they have elastic in the waist to give it more stretch there too. The only real negative against these pants I've found is that they can get hot and sweaty, being 100% synthetic material. They dry fast and repel water though.

Anyways for $17.99 these are a killer bargain pair of pants. They sell out and come in and out of stock at Costco so grab a pair now while all the sizes and colors are available. I saw in store there's an olive green color they don't seem to have online either. In years past they had a nice black color too so hopefully that will return. The navy blue is new (to me at least) and looks great.
