Me and my SO have been debating about this since we will be moving out of where we are now. We already live sort of out in the country and are looking for another place to rent. Of course rent is more expensive in the city, but I feel that saving money on gas is way more important. It takes him 45 min on highway to get to work where as if we lived in the city it would take 10 min. We live at least 30 min away from any grocery store where as I could walk to one from the city. What is your stance, is the city or the country more frugal?
