Okay, so 3 weeks ago I left my house to go to work only to find that my car ('97 Honda Civic hatchback) had been stolen. I filed a police report and told my insurance company (though that did nothing bc I didn't have comprehensive insurance). I was really hit hard as I work three jobs, luckily my parents let me borrow a car for 2 weeks.
In the 3rd week (this past week) I was on a vacation, when I got a call from the police department that they found it. Instead of towing it back to my house, they towed it to the impound lot!!! I had to pay $250 dollars to get it out and another $150 for a tow! Is this not ridiculous??! I have to pay for my car getting stolen!! Any ideas on how I can get this money back? Thanks !
