According to this fact sheet, if I use ≤1000 kWh of energy in a month, I will be charged $40 plus taxes. But since this company uses the CenterPoint Service Area, they are subject to their TDU fees and will be charged a flat fee of $5.47 + $0.035676/kWh = $41.16 for 1000 kW. Am I misreading something, or is this company paying more for their energy than they are selling it for?
