So last night on /r/frugal I saw someone had built a picnic bench which I thought to be very interesting but they didn't have any measurements so I thought I'd try my hand at coming up with some. It ended up being a 6ft. bench made of 2 x 6's My problems are: 1. This is my first time doing something like this and I have no idea how realistic these measurements are, although they seem alright. 2. I'm not in the financial position to buy 82 ft. of 2 x 6's and a bunch of screws, nuts, and bolts So, would anyone mind using the "plans" I threw together so it can be refined so that I can confidently by the supplies in the future knowing it will go together well?
