Thought perhaps there might be some interested in this, so here we go.
I've been looking for some good underwear for a while, and found a recommendation here (I forget who, sorry) for All Citizens boxer briefs. When I tried to order some a few weeks ago they were out of stock in almost everything, but the owner replied to my email and said new stock and styles were coming soon, and promised to give me a heads-up when they went up. He followed through, and I ordered one of each of the new colours (other than Chili/Red) in Medium.
This is my beautiful self modelling Iron (Grey):

I've had issues with other underwear with the pouch being too high up, so my boys slip out and yeah... not good.
As you can see in the photos, this isn't an issue here. There's no danger of things slipping which should not slip. And with this newly-redesigned boxer brief the fly is very high up, to where you will never need to mess with it if you don't want to, and there's no danger of another indecent exposure charge coming your way.
http://ift.tt/2ulV52Z are the three colours I bought. Navy (blue) top left, Gotham (black) top right, and Iron (grey) bottom. As I said above, there's also a bright red available, which is known as Chili on the site.
The material is very soft, light, and quite comfortable, to where it almost feels like you're wearing nothing. 90% polyester and 10% spandex according to the insert, which also states "For best results, wear on a first date", which I'm going to have to take their word on for now.
So all in all I'm very happy with these. It seems my search for comfortable yet affordable underwear has come to an end. I think it's a near certainty that I'll be buying more of these in the very near future.
They're currently $15 each, and if you buy three pairs or more then shipping is free. I was not charged sales tax in Texas, and I'm going to assume anyone outside of NY won't be. Be aware it's slow (DHL/USPS) shipping, and took about 10 days to get to me (near DFW, TX) from Brooklyn, NY. It's free though, so it's difficult to complain about.
Bonus pic of someone who decided to steal an Amazon Prime delivery box that also arrived today:
