I know that this question has been asked so many times, but I can't get a real down to earth answer. What I am looking for is a TRUE BIFL Leather Duffel Bag, one that is not limited by cost. From past experience, I now understand there is no "cheap" way to buy a leather bag, one must simply spend the money to get the quality.
What I am looking for is a weekend leather duffel bag, that can also double as an airplane carry on (meeting all the size restrictions). A side pocket would be nice too.
An example of what I have in mind is the Saddleback Side Pocket Leather Duffel Bag.
My experience with leather quality is limited but I have read that buying Italian leather is better? Again what I am looking for is the best possible quality but not ridiculously expensive like Louis Vuitton Designer bags. A true BIFL leather duffel bag that's only purpose is functionality.
Personal experiences are appreciated.
