Not US based, before people suggest US financial methods of improving savings....
Just got my first white collar job a few months ago, after 2 years blue collar after Uni, and manage to score a nice entry level job at my current company paying $42k. At the end of Uni, I quite literally had $100 in the bank, so I really had to knuckle down over the last few years, but living frugally sure has its perks, and i can now proudly say i have paid off almost a third of my student loan already, and still managed to save $25k in 4 years. And the best bit? no debts (aside from the student loan....)
Just wanted to share, as im so happy to have passed a significant goal for me, especially after having had to pass up so many opportunities and nights out at uni due to lack of cash, it feels nice now to say every so often : im going out to see that show... :)
