Hello I've just received my first credit card. I've decided to go for a 0% purchase credit card for 29 months with lloyds. There's also a 0% balance transfer offer to but I won't be using that. I've recently moved into a house with my SO and will be using the card to help us furnish the house after that the card will not be used. I've been reading up on how to keep with in the 0% period but I'm so confused. I'm being told two different things,

1 - that I have to pay the amount on the card In full at the end of each statement

2 - as long as I make the minimum payment at the end of each month and don't go over the limit I have 29 months to pay off the balance

Which one is correct? We have a limit of £4000 on the card but don't want to use more than £3000. This is our first credit card and we don't want to mess up and be stuck paying thousands in interest. We hope to have finished our purchases within a few weeks of receiving the card so we can pay it back asap. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!
