I don't even know where to begin. Currently my wife and I are living at my parents. Danielle(28) just finished cosmetology school and recently landed a job at sports clips making $10/hr plus tips. I(27) work for a friend putting in sprinkler systems making $12/hr cash(average 25 hours a week)and today I start a night job making only 8.75/hr(20 hours are expected) We have 0 savings, I barely made ends meet while she was in Many roads have lead us to broke but we know it doesn't have to last forever and that's where we need your help
I pay 130/month for car insurance 22/month for health insurance and that's it.
Danielle has 100/month for her cell phone and 90/month towards clippers for work. She has until august to start paying on her 16,000 student loan. Luckily she will be able to transfer to another sports clips location meaning she will have a job when we get there.
I'm going to school to be a massage therapist starting the end of July.
We are going to wait to move until I finish which will only take 6 months.
I have a credit score of 588(bad decisions as a 19 year old)
Danielle's credit score is 500 due to a family member buying under her name.
I don't feel like this is impossible
We're a determined team we want this. We need guidance and advice on the best way to start saving how much to save and how to align ourselves for a successful future.
