A roommate is supposed to pay money they owe me before she leaves our apartment, I stated I wouldn't sign her off of the lease until she pays that. She said that she would be getting a $5000 line of credit on Monday, but I find it hard to believe that a bank would give an 18 year old with no money saved a $5000 line of credit. I'm not certain she works a real job either she may be a baby sitter, but I'm uncertain. Is what she saying to me likely to be false? She says she has good credit, but she's 18, right out of high school so idk how to feel when she says that. She says she has good credit because she got a credit card at 14.
