What is the difference between LP and INC for same company. For example NEE and NEP.

What is the pos/neg to buying $NEP NextEra Energy Partners LP vs $NEE Nextra Energy Inc.

If it matters this would be a ROTH - I think for ROTH the LP is better since there are no tax consequences to worry? Thanks for your insight.
