I'm hoping for a serious response because after hearing this it seems like oil trading below 40 is very bad for international and US markets stability. There seems to be a sweet spot around $50-55 where everything is bueno but as soon as that drops to below $40, shit starts to go down especially in the middle east. Could someone with more experience comment on this? For those heavily invested in the markets, is sub-40 generally bad or is it just an issue for those trading oil whereas most will barely feel the impact? What sort of pros/cons are there to cheap oil? I'm sure it's bad for oil-related companies but what about banks and tech?
