http://ift.tt/2tOzSeT're subleasing this room and are being blamed by the landlord for "splashing" water (causing the stains). There's a couple things I note about it:It doesn't look like water is running down the sides. You can see the water stain is a bit removed from the crevice. We've noticed the spots grow in size even after we've gotten out of the shower. Shower at 9, spot shows at 10, spot is even bigger at 11. This is a compounding effect though because he spot is still present from the previous day's shower (although shrunk). You can see there are those plastic corner water guards installed, and they appear to be silicone'd in there perfectly. We've shoved a paper towel in the corner to be sure, and they are bone dry after the shower. My best guess is water is coming from behind the wall, and is supported by the fact that the stain continues to grow (seep through the wall) for hours after the shower is off.Landlord says her repair guy "checked the splash guard" and it seemed fine, so it must be us somehow. How on earth might this be happening? Any help would be soooo much appreciated. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2ttLapm
