1 2 3I ripped up carpet in a spare bedroom and this was the shape of the wood floors underneath, with the condition they were in (gaps, boards not straight) I didn't think they were worth refinishing but thought painting them white might be nice. Should I fill the various gaps in between the floor boards before painting and if so with what?I've started hammering in some rope for the bigger gaps but most are too small for the size I bought, I've also read the wood filler will break away when the wood expands and contracts through the seasons. I live in an area that gets very cold in the winter - I don't mind the gaps but would the gaps cause the floors to become drafty?Thanks! via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2rWjXvc
