Two years ago, I had the following setup at Gamescom:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mPS2SXLBV_8Turns out LED Walls are expensive, so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative. My planis to build an arcade machine version of it, in a body like this one.The game's code isn't a problem, and neither is the woodwork involved in building the cabinet, but I'm in over my head when it comes to the electronics. The screen needs to be exactly 96x64 pixelsRGB LED Modules like this seem to be cheap enough, and with 10mm between each pixel I'm left with a nice 96cm screen width. My problem is that there's a lot of different ones and I don't know how to judge which one would work best. They need to be bright enough to be visible under bright lamps, don't have too much lag (5ms?) and can't be too expensive. A local source (Germany) would be better, but I haven't been able to find any. Any advice or recommendation would be nice.I also need advice on anything else I need, like how to power them and which video controller would work. Do I need to buy extra cables? Can I use some old PC PSU to power everything (including the RPi3 running the game)? via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2stJ4Vf
