Original thread, so I accepted the other companies offer and gave my office manager a two week notice. I left this evening and got a call from the owner of the company telling me that a two week notice was very unprofessional and that I need a one month notice as it's professional courtesy. Some choice words were said. I feel like I just burned a bridge and it's made me feel so much worse. I've never even heard of a one month notice.
Edit: the owner requested that I stay on an additional week to hire somebody new.
