Hi, im an idiot and a tinkerer at best, and I made this in about an hour....and it works! ...but only in dry climates. The physics are that energy is taken from the air to evaporate the water and thus the tempurature of the air decreases.cost. €30 euros-one micro fan-one micro fish-pump-plastic container with lid-1 metre tubing that fits pump-some kind of faom pad (i used brillo pad)-thin wire-one nail (for poking holes in the tubing)Voila! I like how I made holes in the lid so any extra water drips back into the system! This swamp-cooler cools one small room. System easy to scale up and make with a bigger fan. You wouldnt even need a bigger water-pump! (Youtube has lots of great DIY examples) I got the idea from watching a few of themhttp://imgur.com/kRHfE1L front viewside view http://ift.tt/2sMARPh pinch the tube at the end.... http://ift.tt/2tK1vFG wire-sewing skills http://ift.tt/2tK56E1 via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2sPLMZB
