I tried finding a part time job to no avail. Apparently, most places didn't want to hire someone who works 9-5 and didn't have open availability.
So know I've resorted to making some extra cash by getting a little crafty.
I am undecided between vinyl cutting or embroidery.
Both are so popular in my area. Monogrammed everything is everywhere.
With both I'd have to purchase a machine, either a Cricut or an inexpensive embroidery machine (these run anywhere from $300 used to over $7,000 not including expensive digitizing software). I'm still trying to stay frugal.
I would advertise online and also set up an Etsy store.
Embroidery seems to be quite lucrative. You can charge more for an embroidered item than an item that just had vinyl applied to it.
But I wouldn't have to buy all the expensive extras embroidery requires.
Looking for opinions on which do you think would be the best option?
