Basically, take the money issue aside, how difficult would it be to get a job offer if someone highly educated, in a high demand field, with over a decade of experience were to take an 18 month trip around the world? Do you think it would hurt or help, if that timeframe were noted on the resume as "job experience", with explanation of everything that was done.
