So this is probably unnecessary backstory...
I grew up in a house where my parents wouldn't let us wear shoes indoors. Or anyone else for that matter. Until recently, I've always lived in houses/apartments that were carpeted, so this hasn't been a problem. But now I live in a house that's mostly wood/tile, and the bare feet thing is killing me. But I'm not comfortable wearing my sneakers and stuff around the house. Does anybody know of house shoes that are made to last? "Buy it for life" may not be an option with house shoes, so I'm open to "buy it for longer" house shoes as well if that's a thing...
