I'm looking into getting a pair of Rainbow sandals (specifically, the flirty braidy) and they have two types of leathers: Premier Nubuck Leather and Classic Finished Leather. Do they feel very different or is one better than the other? The FAQ says that "Classic Leather has a smooth texture with a shiny finish where as Premier Leather has suede like texture and has no shine." I don't really care whether they look shiny or not given that they will be under my feet, but I wonder if the suede-like one feels better?
Also, I read somewhere that only a few pairs of their sandals are still made in the USA and that the quality difference between the US-made vs China-made sandals is significant. Does anyone know which pairs are made in the US or have any opinions/knowledge regarding this?
