I have more HDMI outputs than my TV can take and I only see this becoming more of a problem over time.
I've done some light research (including searching this subreddit without luck) and there seems to be a number of considerations to take:
- Type: Wireless or wired hub?
- Max Resolution: 1080p vs 4K?
- HDCP standards: What do my TV and devices support?
- Size: How many ports do I need? Do I need a dedicated power supply?
- Switching: Auto vs manual? Remote vs button? Possibly phone app?
Several reviews point to Kinivo 501BN as the best choice — I'd love to hear your thoughts and recommendations on what factors are important to consider and what your favourite hub is?
