I'm looking for something to make my room habitable in the heat of the summer, but unfortunately I'm budgeted at about $100, so a full on AC unit is out of the question.
After reading multiple posts, I wanted to get myself the coveted Vornado 660, but to my horror that particular fan doesn't seem to exist in Europe. Shipping from the US would bump up the price to $200, essentially doubling it, while the one 660 I found on amazon.de was around 330 euros (and they say that Germans don't have a sense of humor, huh?).
I'm from Hungary so I'm okay with paying for shipping, but it literally costing as much as the item itself is not what I'd call worthwhile.
