Really wish I had the sense to keep a picture of it, but my greatest BIFL object was probably one of my bicycles, a 1956 Raleigh Superbe. I picked it up about 5 years ago for the loose change in my pocket as a student and rode it around 5 miles every day. Completely original apart from tyres and saddle, it even had the original Raleigh stamped chain (which wasn't even worn out according to my chain checker!). Beautiful old roadster with rod brakes and full chain cover, even up the steep hills it rode like an absolute dream, despite its incredible weight.
Sadly due to relocation I couldn't take it with me but I gave it to a friend who'd always had his eye on it, and always wanted to give it the cleaning and restoration it deserved.
