For the past year and a half, I've been working a 2nd job with the purpose of paying off debt. 100% of the money made from that job went directly to the debt. As soon as the paycheck came in, it went right back out. It wasn't easy. I was away from my family for 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, and a few hours on Saturday. That being said, I paid off my student loan debt first, then paid off my wife's car, and finally, FINALLY, just paid off my wife's student loan debt! All in all, that's $50k in debt GONE! I will soon be able to quit the 2nd job and have more time with my family!
