First off she began saying that after we pay our debts off that we should create a joint savings account. Now I have two jobs and am a full time student, she may be a full time employee, no school. I questioned her and asked, "you mean combine money?" She replied no, then said "create a savings account together", then said "Well, I guess". I asked why not have our own savings accounts and she replied questioning me, "wouldn't you prefer "our" own savings account? We would still have our own checking but we'd share a savings". I rejected and she asked if any of my family saves money together (they don't). Now she's upset saying she just thought it'd be a faster way to save money, we'd have our checking accounts, and our savings would grow faster "but nevermind". I told her I'm not interested in pooling money together. We should save our own. Am I wrong for this?
