Sorry if formatting is wrong, but here is my 1910 Singer model 66 hand crank sewing machine. It was converted to electric by adding a 1 amp motor in 1945, but the chord has frayed since then so I am converting it back to a hand crank machine. These old sewing machines are beasts made of cast metal and all metal gears and parts. This one weighs about 35 pounds and has the original base and bent wood cover. I purchased it a couple weeks ago from goodwill, where it was labeled as not working and for parts only. It is complete with all the parts, so I bought it for $15. Got it home, removed the motor and saved it in case I wanted to rewire it to use it with another machine in future. The hand wheel and needle wouldn't move, so I cleaned all the lint and gunk of 100 years out of the gears and inner mechanisms with a toothbrush, oiled her and greased the gears and voila! Sews like a champ! Smooth as butter. In waiting on the hand crank handle in the mail
