Interested in Reddit's thoughts on MRAM, specifically the long term viability of technology, magnetoresistive random access memory (and also the company, Everspin). I've done a little research and it seems like there's potential.
I was lucky enough to buy in a little while back and it's taken a nice jump since. But I'm not a day trader and plan to hold for a while. So my question to the tech-savvier redditors: What's keeping MRAM from taking over DRAM and flash-RAM? Everything I've read says it's faster and lower power consumption than DRAM. What's the long term outlook/obstacles for MRAM becoming the dominant type of memory?
I've done some research but I don't work in a tech field. I know there are much more knowledgeable redditors out there so I'm curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks.
