I work in construction and landscaping, regularly putting in 10 hours 6 days a week on average. Right now I've been wearing Carhartt double-front duck pants on a daily basis and have been somewhat underwhelmed by their longevity before they begin to tear (especially in the crotch). I've also looked at the Duluth Fire Hose pants but I'm not sure they're worth the extra cash when I can get Carhartts for $25 on Sierra Trading Post.

Does anyone have any suggestions for more durable work pants? Thanks.
