Hi all, Thanks to this forum I was able to save up 20k in my savings account. I never had this much money before, and credit it to reading this sub. I make about 40k a year with little expenses. I still live at home so no rent. I save up about 1500-2000 a month. So I'm proud power saving.
My expenses are: Car payment: 320 Phone:100 Insurance:70
It feels good to have this money.. mostly it's a mental thing because I know that I have a decent cushion should I decide to just quit my current job.
Does anyone else feel this way? That you're not tied down to working some where you don't want because you can easily quit and look for something else? Is this a healthy way to look at things?
