I am a huge nerd when it comes to history, and I always love learning about famous printers and their newspapers like Benjamin Franklin and the Wright Brothers. Sure there were daily newspapers a century or two ago, but most news was shared via weekly or bi-monthly newspapers.
In the modern age of the 24 hour news cycle, I learned quickly that I become very desensitized or angry if I try and keep up with the hourly reports of major (or not so major) stories. Does anyone know of a news source that is minimalist in a sense? In which they give weekly roundups of major news stories; so a) I don't get sucked into constant refreshing, and b) I can keep up to date on the world. Any ideas?
