Here's the list of ingredients:
- Castile Liquid Soap
- Calcium Carbonate Powder
- Magnesium Carbonate Powder
- Bentonite Clay
- Coconut Oil
- Xylitol
- Baking Soda
- Spearmint Oil
- Trace Minerals
One day (about a week ago) all of a sudden, the toothpaste that rests on my lips before I get a chance to rinse them off has been irritating them so much that they turn red and get chapped. I bought all of these ingredients May 2015, so about 2 years ago.
The bentonite clay says it expired, but.. it's clay. How can clay expire? Also, I tried letting it sit on my lips and no irritation.
The coconut oil says it expired, but I was actually using that to keep my chapped lips moisturized, so that's not it.
The magnesium carbonate says it expired, but again.. how can a mineral expire? It can't. Also letting it sit on my lips did nothing.
Everything else either doesn't have an expiration date or hasn't expired yet.
does anyone have any idea what's happening?
