So I'm a college student who is currently coaching my former high school's dance team. I began coaching after going to an alumni event, and learning that they have no coach because the previous one stole their money. Since I was a former member (who ironically had the same thing happen to my team), I decided I'd volunteer my services. I am by myself coaching this team. I'm in charge of everything from their social media pages, to their finances.
We recently were awarded with an opportunity to perform at the Citrus Bowl pre-game performance, and it includes a stay at Disney World! The total fee is $943 per girl (10 girls total), not including the travel there and back. The fee is due November 4, 2017. Of course, we will try to fundraise as much as possible, but we can only do fundraisers that don't require putting a lot of money forward first, being that we don't have much in our account to begin with since most of it went to us going to UDA camp this summer.
Please keep in mind that out of my 10 girls, 5 of them have single mothers and were barely able to afford coming to camp, and we will also have to put money towards costumes for the year.
I want to make this trip as accessible as possible! So ideas for payment plans and fundraising ideas are really needed!
